One bible story that is cool is the one about Mary and Martha in Luke 10. What happens is Mary is sitting at Jesus feet and listening to Him, but Martha gets grumpy because she isn’t helping in the kitchen, and then complains to Jesus. But Jesus tells her Mary chose well in listening to Him. We need to chose to listen to God then the other things in this world. Check it out in Luke 10:38-42.

My favorite Bible story is Esther. She has always been my favorite girl Bible Hero and I just love her story! I’m only 5’2 and sometimes it feels like I can’t *do* a lot. Or be something, be strong. But in this story, Esther is just a common girl who ends up as queen! How amazing is that? It just shows God’s power and how he uses those who no one would expect to do his wondrous works. That a girl would become the queen in a year…that is kind of unique. And that is what God does. He does amazing things that no one would expect, he is so powerful and helps the weak. So the reason that I love that story? The above reasons and the fact that God can use anyone!!!!!

These are all wonderful Bible stories. I too like the one with Mary and Martha and also Esther! I can relate to both of those stories! Thanks for the post Godsgirlz- I always enjoy your posts- they are so encouraging!! You blog is one of my favorite blogs to read!

My favorite Bible story has to be the story of Abigail! She was Davids wife and very kind and loyal! She is also a Lot like me (not just because she has the same name!) Because we both want to do what is pleasing to God always!
